About the brixton

The Brixton brings four exquisitely designed three and four bedroom homes to Mount Pleasant in Vancouver. This beautiful character retention and new laneway home reflects the charming character of the neighbourhood, while also raising the bar for modern living in the heart of the city.

Just like the British neighbourhood, The Brixton is a no-frills kind of place. Its simplicity, approacheable aesthetic, and functional design make it the perfect place for a growing family in one of the most sought-after areas of the City.

the challenge

The biggest challenge of branding this project was capturing the personality of the homes at The Brixton. We knew the client wanted a typographic logo, so our team got to researching the London neighbourhood and thus began the discovery process.

The studying and brainstorming sessions led to our conclusion that The Brixton needed to exude strength, stability, and minimalism. Our team decided on a classic black and white look to capture these characteristics.

the solution

The black and white palette meant the brand would be easily applied to different mediums, whether online or in print. Our team built the brand to be bold and leave a lasting impression.

The Brixton branding encapsulated the neighbourhood’s character and history, while introducing a touch of modern flair. The website, print, and digital materials were carefully designed around the brand to enhance and extend its reach.
